Some people seem to live each day in such a way that the only way things will work is if everything else in the world goes perfectly.
Example A: commutes.
If you leave home at the last possible moment, every detail of your commute must go perfectly for you to be on time. You must catch every train, get every stoplight green, and definitely not get caught behind a slow walker.
I would venture to say that every detail of your commute is not going to go perfectly every day. So then you get stressed. The traffic is huge. There's nothing you can do about.
But there is. You can't change the other commuters but you can change your experience of the commute. Leave earlier. That way, when something goes wrong, it doesn't bother you. It is out of your control, so you can sit back into the experience without stress. You won't be late. Nothing is wrong.
In what parts of your day do you need to change your experience? How will you do that?
