Tuesday Travel Tip: Pack the Night Before

Whether you are leaving for days or just a few hours, how often do you scramble to get out the door and then remember that you forgot something?

Pack the night before (or even before that for a longer trip to a new location). Being prepared saves time, money and stress. You don't waste time going back inside for what you forgot, money buying it, or the stress of figuring out whether to buy, go back for or do without whatever you forgot.

I find that by calmly packing the night before, I can often be more strategic and carry less, something that matters in New York City and other places where you actually carry your things all day.

Tonight, pack up for Wednesday.
